YUG 2026 Unveiled: Celebrating India’s Living Legacy of Folk and Tribal Arts

A proud moment for Indian folk, tribal, ancient, heritage, and traditional arts unfolded with the official unveiling of the New Year Art Calendar YUG 2026 by Shri Vasu Shroff Ji.

This was not just a calendar launch. It was a celebration of an ongoing cultural journey rooted in India’s artistic soul.

YUG 2026 is a visual narrative that brings one distinct Indian folk or tribal art form to life every month. Each page reflects tradition, creativity, and the timeless depth of indigenous expression.

This journey began in 2023, when Indian Folk Art Corridor (IFAC) by Vidisha’s Creations launched its first art calendar with a clear purpose: to preserve, promote, and present India’s diverse art heritage on a global platform.

From 2023 to today, 48 Indian folk and traditional art forms have been documented and celebrated through these calendars. Each edition stands as a cultural archive, highlighting the diversity and richness of India’s artistic traditions.

What made the unveiling of YUG 2026 especially meaningful was Mr. Vasu Shroff’s deep engagement with IFAC’s broader vision. Beyond the launch, he explored future goals, pathways, and opportunities to further strengthen the global presence of Indian folk and tribal arts. His encouragement and insights added immense value to the moment.

With YUG 2026, IFAC continues its mission of honoring tradition, celebrating artists, and building new cultural bridges across the world.

Heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Vasu Shroff for his support, interest, and inspiring engagement with the mission of the Indian Folk Art Corridor.

This is not just IFAC’s story.
It is the story of India’s art, its artists, and its enduring spirit.
