As you all know, the annual “AZAADI” Painting Competition on Independence Day celebrates the vibrant traditions of Indian folk, tribal, and miniature art.

We’re excited to announce the 4th Series of this unique event, themed:

🪘 “Roots & Rhythms”

📝 Important Guidelines:

1. The painting must be your original creation.
2. Theme: Roots & Rhythms
3. Age Groups:
   • Group A – 6 to 10 years
   • Group B – 10 to 20 years
   • Group C – 20 years onwards

🎨 Medium Guidelines:

• Group A (Kids):
  Allowed: Colour pencils, poster colours, black markers or sketch pens.
• Group B & C (10+ years):
  Allowed: Acrylic, poster, or fabric colours.
  Not allowed: Pen-type tools (e.g., markers, graphic pens).

📅 Important Dates:

• Registration Deadline: July 15th, 2025
• Submission Deadline: August 5th, 2025
• Results Announcement: August 15th, 2025

📐 Paper Size:

You are free to choose your own paper size for all groups.

This competition is 100% online.

Explore and express any traditional Indian folk or tribal style. Here are some suggestions:

• Mithila, Warli, Saura, Pattachitra, Phad, Kalamkari, Cheriyal, Gond, Bhil, Kerala Mural, Mughal Miniature, Bani Thani, Kangra, Mysore, Tanjore, Chittara, Nirmal, Aipan, Lippan, Kolam, Mandala, and many more.

You may combine multiple styles if desired.

💰 Registration Fee:

• INR 500 for all participants (regardless of age group)

• Creativity
• Authenticity of style
• Technique & use of traditional mediums
• Overall impression
