Indian Folk Art Corridor by Vidisha Pandey proudly announces AZAADI 2026, the 5th Edition of its prestigious Indian Folk, Tribal & Traditional Art Painting Competition. This annual initiative invites artists from across the world to express the vision of Viksit Bharat through the vibrant colors, stories, and traditions of India’s indigenous art forms.
More than just an art competition, AZAADI 2026 is a celebration of India’s cultural identity and a movement to preserve and promote its rich artistic heritage. Every painting becomes a tribute to India’s traditions while reflecting the aspirations of a developed and progressive nation.
Theme: Viksit Bharat Through the Lens of Indian Folk & Tribal Arts
Participants are encouraged to create artwork inspired by India’s diverse Folk, Tribal, and Traditional Art forms while interpreting the theme of Viksit Bharat. Artists can choose from renowned styles such as Madhubani, Warli, Gond, Pattachitra, Kalamkari, Cheriyal, Sohrai, Bhil, Miniature, Phad, Pichwai, or any other traditional Indian art form.
The artwork should beautifully represent India’s culture, heritage, traditions, and the vision of a stronger, self-reliant, and culturally rich future.

- Group A: 6 to 12 Years
- Group B: 13 to 18 Years

Participation Fee
There is no registration fee. Your creativity, dedication, passion, and love for India are your only contribution.
Registration & Submission Schedule
- Registration Period: 26 July to 10 August 2026
- Artwork Submission: 11 August to 14 August 2026
Artists are encouraged to complete their registration within the given timeline and submit their artwork before the deadline.

Participants should follow these simple guidelines:
- Create an original artwork in any Indian Folk, Tribal, or Traditional Art form.
- Ensure the artwork reflects India’s culture, heritage, traditions, and the vision of Viksit Bharat.
- Share your artwork on social media by:
