Goddess Glory (Mata ni Pachhedi) honors a sacred folk art tradition from Gujarat dating back 700–1000 years. Originally a portable shrine used by nomadic and Devi-Pujak tribes excluded from mainstream temples, this art form focuses on the divine image of the Goddess in a temple-like frame. It narrates the lives of devotees, nature, animals, and divine beings with bold outlines, geometric borders, repetitive motifs, and vibrant natural pigments. Known as the “Kalamkari of Gujarat,” this piece is a canvas of devotion, decoration, and divine energy.
