Glimpses from DHAROHAR: Indian Folk and Tribal Art Exhibition & Event

Where true colors told stories, and heritage came alive through Indian arts.

From 26th May to 30th May 2025, DHAROHAR – Indian Folk and Tribal Art Exhibition & Event unfolded at the Nehru Centre, London, transforming the space into a vibrant tapestry of India’s rich cultural legacy.

Curated by the Indian Folk Art Corridor and led by the passionate vision of Vidisha Pandey, the event showcased the soulful expressions of Indian folk and tribal artists whose works bridged the gap between tradition and modernity.

Heartfelt gratitude to all who became a part of this beautiful journey.
These images capture just a few moments—but the true experience was lived, felt, and celebrated in every heartbeat of the exhibition.

📸 In these snapshots, witness:

  • 🎨 The passion of our artists – each piece a tribute to generations of inherited artistry.
  • 🏛️ The grandeur of Nehru Centre, London – where Indian folk traditions found a global stage.
  • 👣 The pride of the Indian Folk Art Corridor – a cultural movement committed to reviving and sharing our indigenous art forms with the world.

DHAROHAR was more than an art show—it was a cultural dialogue, a living canvas of stories told through colors, textures, and emotions. We are proud to have shared this experience with an audience that celebrated, encouraged, and immersed themselves in the art that defines the roots of India.
